Hot Air balloons offer a very stable platform for aerial filming,
giving you
almost all round views and slow speeds. Our coordinator in this area will be able to make you familiar with the possibilities and limitations regarding the use of these aircraft for aerial filming.
Hot Air airships are used more frequently now in aerial filming
when slow
speed shoots are required without the interference
of the noise and vibration
of a helicopter. They allow unusual work like the study of forest canopies or
when a platform, which
can remain almost immobile, is needed.
Both these aircraft require good weather (little wind) to do their job,
which makes it more usual to see this happen close to sunrise and sunset times.
